With over three decades of experience in designing and crafting nursery furniture and with a background in cabinetmaking and design, our founder Phil stands as a pillar of excellence in the nursery furniture world. His journey began in the early 1990s, driven by a passion for creating safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments for infants and toddlers.
In 2011, Phil founded Little Acorns, where he continues to lead a management team with over 100 years of combined experience in the nursery industry and with a commitment to excellence.

A key ingredient of our company’s designs is the fact that all the team are parents and we develop and design our products with parents in mind. An example of this is where all our Cots and Cot-Beds can be used for years and adapt as your child grows. Nearly all our Changers can convert or be used as Chest of Drawers when you’re child is older and all the drawers have metal supporting bars to make them strong and in turn last. Again on the theme of your nursery furniture lasting and growing with your child, all our nursery wardrobes have double shelves and double hanging rails, which when you decide the time is right for your growing little one can convert for longer clothes.
